Cognitive Perceptual Activity

TESSELLATION

A tessellation of a flat surface is the tiling of a plane using one or more geometric shapes, called tiles, with no overlaps and no gaps. In mathematics, tessellations can be generalized to higher dimension. Mr. Wikipedia

This ideas was came from COTNAB resources file. I made one at my clinical posting for neuro and medical patient (stroke, TBI, dementia) and this one made by my friend Hui Sing for special needs children.

The games is easy yet challenging, cause it's require a lot of cognitive functions that we usually use but unrealized it. To complete the TESSELLATION,it requires cognitive perceptual function and skills such as figure-ground discrimination, size recognition and matching, form-constancy and spatial relation.

This Activities gives a lot of values for our daily life activities such as problem solving, quick response, dressing, driving and texting. and for children, it's a best Brain Exercises!!!

HOPE IT HELPFUL
